Our logs come from the West and Central African coast most especially from Cameroon Congo and Gabon. Quality is A, B, B+ for logs.
Around Fourty principal species of this logs are available, in the qualities required by our clients, to order or from stock, with possibility of 500CMB per wood supply ability per month.
We can commit to providing higher volumes, which always respects ATIBT quality standards. We deliver this product to all possible destinations, by conventional boat, container, truck or train.

Abura(Mitragyna Ciliata)

Abura Hardwoord, is a moderately durable wood, Good acid resistance. Abura has a uniform yellow to pinkish-brown color, with sapwood indistinct from heartwood. Abura takes glue and finishes well. Has a slight blunting effect on cutting edges and tools due to a moderate silica content (.25%).

Afrormosia(Pericopsis elata)

Afrormosia closely resembles teak and is so often used as a teak substitute that it is sometimes referred to as African teak. But the wood is prized for more than simply its resemblance to teak it is also valued for character and properties all its own. Afrormosia has the appearance of a fine-grained teak but lacks the slightly oily finish. It does not bleach on exposure (like teak) but darkens with time, and it shows little movement after seasoning, is stronger and harder than most Teaks.

Anigre (Pouteria spp.)

Heartwood is a light yellowish-brown, sometimes with a pinkish hue. Color tends to darken to a more golden brown with age. Pale sapwood is not well defined. Figured grain is occasionally present, such as curly or mottled grain.

Azobe - Ekki Lophira alata)

Heartwood is a dark reddish or violet brown. Pores contain light-colored mineral deposits which form small but conspicuous streaks throughout the wood. Sapwood is a pale pinkish white, with a gradual transition zone between the heartwood and sapwood. Azobe is very durable, with good resistance to insect attacks. Good weathering characteristics.This tough, durable wood can be difficult to work, but its longevity (especially in marine applications) make it well worth the effort.

very durable regarding decay resistance, and is also resistant to insect attack. Pau Rosa has good weathering characteristics in outdoor applications.Heartwood tends to vary in color from a pink or yellow to a darker reddish brown, with darker brown streaks common.

African Walnut(Lovoa trichilioides)

Generally easy to work with both hand and machine tools, though care must be taken to avoid tearout when surfacing interlocked grain. Turns, glues, and finishes well.Heartwood is a golden yellow to reddish brown, sometimes with darker streaks and veins.
